That's a wrap on April! It may have ended with a chill in the air, but there were lots of warm spring days to give us all the feels.

We ended the month with an official company retreat to Camden Yards with the boys for Kids Day!  The Orioles were taking on my beloved Red Sox who did manage to get the W that day but they still can't seem to climb out of the basement.

Alex and Brooks are playing baseball now, so this was the first time attending a game where they actually kind of knew what was going on.  One of the highlights was the Hot Dog Race, won by Ketchup.  Mustard hasn't won a single race this year, which seems suspect.  No game would be complete without hot dogs, chicken tenders, and of course, Dippin' Dots.  After ice cream, the boys crashed under their seats and didn't last much longer after that. Honestly we left right before all the action started!

Camden Yards Baseball Game

We're still working away on our summer drop of new things coming in July.  What the collection will be, we can't say because we honestly still don't know.  It's always a jumble of things that somehow always seems to come together. We did drop our new Lemon Stick-er just in time for Baltimore's Flower Mart this month.

Celebrating a big win!

We hit a big milestone in April, which is worth celebrating. You can now find Maggie Moore in 150 stores! Cue the confetti! This month, we added Martin House Books in Westerly, RI, Cultivated, right here in Westminster, MD and Book Ends in Winchester, MA. I got to do a drop off at Cultivated and that shop is so cute! Go check it out!

Five Senses of April

Time for the Five Senses of April!

Taste: Can I give a shout-out to Costiera in Baltimore? We went for dinner again last week, and their Rigatoni with Mushroom Bolognese is soooo good.  This time we also got Roasted Broccoli, and I know you're saying, seriously Broccoli?  But it was the best.  I need to recreate it with Garlic Yogurt, Chili-Ginger Vinaigrette, and Toasted Sesame. Yum!  Oh, and you have to get the donuts for dessert.  Trust me!

Hearing: If you like Trivia like me, you might like the new podcast I've been into.  It's Funny You Ask with Ike Barinholtz.  Ike talks with a celebrity guest and throws trivia questions on their favorite topics in the mix.

Sight: I'm still all in on Survivor 50, but did anyone see DTF St. Louis?  Yes, it stands for what you think it does, and I don't hear enough people talking about this one, which is totally weird and will keep you guessing, starring Jason Bateman.

Smell: My obsession with Trader Joe's candles continues, and this month I've been enjoying Grapefruit.  I liked it so much I went back and got three Moore and an extra to send to my son and daughter-in-law.

Touch: I'm again going to go with a book that touched me this month.  I read a bunch, but my favorite of the month was Just Watch Me by Lior Torenberg.  I've been reading a lot of quirky books lately, and this was a strange one in a good way.  Dell starts live-streaming as she eats crazy hot peppers to pay for her sister, who is on life support. Enough said.

top card of April

Your favorite of April was our Happy Bird Day Orioles card.  This one always manages to come out on top.
