Our Life in Stationery and Summer Travels - July Recap

Wow, what a month! Sam and I got to do some summer traveling and get away for a bit to our favorite places.  First up, I headed to my happy place, Cape Cod for a family getaway during 4th of July week.  My son and daughter in law (I still can't get over I have a daughter-in-law!) were able to join us, and Remy went on her first vacation, going from BARCS to living her best New England life. She even went in for a swim.  Not sure she was much of a fan. We got in some much needed relaxing and beach time as well as clamming. And after clamming came, Clams Casino, Linguine with clam sauce and steamed clams. Clams for days! Maybe we snuck in a Lobstah Roll or two as well.

Sam started off her travel adventures in Lewes, Delaware for a family vacation where the boys got to spend some quality cousin time.  We're all about that. Then off for a weekend in Ocean City with their Grandmom and Grandude for beach adventures and of course mini golf.  They finished out their July in Sam's happy place in the Adirondacks at Saranac Lake for driving the boat to the farmer's market, picking blueberries, fishing for perch and sunfish, boating through the locks, giant Jenga and s'mores. Lake life really is better isn't it?

Besides all of our jet setting it was a very good month for Maggie Moore Studio. After what has been a very tumultuous business year of highs and lows, July Moore than made up for a rough start, and was our best month ever!  So big thanks are in order, and we need celebratory drinks! All the work we did on designing a big new drop and sending mailers and endless emails for Faire's Summer Market paid off. Love when a plan comes together.  Typically when we do a Faire Market we are happy with one new store.  This year, July brought us ten new shops that are sharing Moore love! If you're on Cape Cod you can now find us at Sweetside Candy and Gifts and Cape Abilities Farm in Dennis. Check us out up the road in Hingham, MA at Acquire Good and in Melrose at Buckalew's General Store. If you're traveling in Rhode Island, Maggie Moore is now at Frog and Toad and Rhody Craft in Providence and Paper Packaging and Panache in Bristol.  Heading to Rehoboth this summer?  We're in Browseabout Books on the Avenue hon'! We've been going there since we were kids! Or if you're in Ocean City you can find us at the Buzzed Word. We're so excited to check this one out for ourselves. A wine and bookshop sounds like the perfect combination. And closer to home you can find us at Tidal Salt in Sykesville. Woo! We dropped so much new stuff in July.  It was our biggest drop ever of cards, stickers and we now have notepads for all your list making and doodling needs. It was our biggest drop ever!
